Beijing adds 19 designated medical insurance institutions and updates 51 more listings
An official Beijing update says community-level service stations, village clinics and healthcare centers were added to the city's designated medical insurance network in late March.

The Beijing Municipal Government's English portal reports that Beijing added 19 designated medical insurance institutions from March 26, including community healthcare service centers, community service stations and village clinics.
The same notice says information was also updated for 51 designated medical and pharmaceutical institutions, while two service agreements were reinstated and one hospital launched a new 'Internet Plus' medical insurance service. The public can check the latest designated-institution list through the Beijing Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau search platform.
For PatientChina readers, the key point is easier verification of where insured services may be processed in Beijing, especially for follow-up care and community-level visits. Patients still need to confirm department scope, current acceptance rules and any self-pay items directly with the institution involved.
