Guangzhou community clinic event spotlights international medical tourism support
An official Guangzhou update says a foreign-resident women's health event combined specialist consultations, screening advice and direct introductions to the Guangzhou International Medical Tourism Service Center launched in April.

Guangzhou International reported on June 1 that a free women's health event for foreign residents was held at a clinic in Zhujiang New Town, bringing together doctors from gynecology, traditional Chinese medicine, breast care and psychology.
The official report said attendees could also learn about the Guangzhou International Medical Tourism Service Center, which started operating in April to offer multilingual consultation, hospital-navigation support and related service coordination for overseas visitors and residents.
For patient planning, the main takeaway is that Guangzhou is linking community outreach with clearer international-service entry points. Visitors should still confirm department availability, language support, fees and appointment procedures directly with the licensed medical institution before relying on the service.
