Hainan launches a Lecheng medical-travel service center built around cross-institution coordination
Hainan says the new Lecheng International Medical Tourism Service Center is meant to link consultation, referral, rehabilitation and cultural-travel support while coordinating resources from more than 40 medical institutions in the pilot zone.
The Hainan provincial government reported on May 30 that the Lecheng International Medical Tourism Service Center had been established in the Boao Lecheng pilot zone. According to the official description, the center marks a move toward a full-chain service system covering consultation, referral, rehabilitation and cultural-travel support.
The same report says the center will integrate resources from more than 40 medical institutions in the park, build a cross-institution coordination mechanism and promote real-time information sharing, connected workflows and multi-party response. For international patients, that points to a more structured navigation layer inside the destination rather than to a single new hospital opening.
