Hainan's Lecheng zone adds a one-stop center for inbound medical travel
The new Lecheng service model combines visa support, multilingual coordination, referrals and recovery-related logistics for overseas visitors.
Hainan's Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone says its new one-stop services center is designed to simplify pre-arrival and on-the-ground arrangements for overseas patients.
According to the provincial government update, the center links more than 40 medical institutions and offers support such as visa assistance, multilingual hotlines, cross-border coordination, referrals, recovery-related services and cultural travel planning.
Patients should still confirm hospital acceptance, appointment availability, pricing, and any clinical decisions directly with the licensed institution before booking travel.
