Hainan is drawing more international life-and-health interest around its medical tourism ecosystem
An official Hainan update says overseas companies are exploring the province's life-and-health sector, with cooperation interest spanning medical equipment, healthcare services and elderly care.

The Hainan Provincial People's Government said on June 2 that more than 170 companies from 19 countries and regions had visited the island to explore cooperation opportunities in the life and health sector.
According to the official update, the recent 'Dialogue on Hainan Free Trade Port: A New Global Vision for Health' brought together executives, investors and entrepreneurs, and cooperation deals were signed in medical equipment, healthcare services and elderly care.
For inbound medical-travel observers, the relevance is that Hainan continues to position itself as a gateway for international health-related services and investment, not just a beach destination. Travelers should still verify which services are actually open to overseas patients, along with access rules, pricing and scheduling, with the specific institution involved.
