International Services Shanghai reported on June 30 that the city is piloting Meet China, a multilingual digital platform for inbound visitors. The official page says the service can help users access travel information, place orders and pay using familiar methods.

According to the same notice, the platform provides assistance in 10 languages and has already been installed at major tourism and commercial sites. Shanghai also said more hotels and cultural venues serving overseas guests are expected to add the service.

For medical travelers, the practical value is not clinical advice but smoother trip logistics before and after appointments. Patients should still confirm hospital booking rules, department schedules, interpreter availability and payment requirements directly with the licensed provider they plan to use.
