Shenzhen adds a direct bus link from Futian Port to Hong Kong University Shenzhen Hospital
Shenzhen says a new high-speed bus route now connects Futian Port directly with Hong Kong University Shenzhen Hospital, creating a clearer cross-border access option for outpatient visits, follow-up checks and accompanying family travel.
On July 3, Shenzhen's official English portal reported that a direct high-speed bus line had been added between Futian Port and Hong Kong University Shenzhen Hospital.
For patients coming through the Hong Kong-Shenzhen border, the practical value is straightforward: one less transfer step between entry control and a major hospital campus. That can be especially useful for same-day consultations, repeat outpatient visits or families traveling with children or older relatives.
The route is a transport-access improvement, not a guarantee of appointment availability or immediate admission. Patients should still confirm clinic schedules, registration rules, border documents and the latest operating timetable directly with the hospital and the relevant transport provider.
