Shenzhen People's Hospital opens a new international medical department
Shenzhen health authorities say Shenzhen People's Hospital has launched an international medical department with multilingual support, direct billing links to commercial insurers and one-stop outpatient, inpatient and health-management services.
The Shenzhen Municipal Health Commission said on January 14 that Shenzhen People's Hospital had formally inaugurated its international medical department on January 11.
According to the official report, the new department combines outpatient care, inpatient care and dedicated examinations in one service setting. The notice also says the hospital organized a multilingual volunteer team and is working with multiple domestic and overseas commercial insurers to support direct billing for eligible patients.
